burrrrr! i ran across the block to the library like i do all the time but this time i actually considered running because it's so cold. i have a house full of warm clothes, boots, scarves and coats but i chose to throw on a hoodie and some flats and brave the cold....not my smartest decision lol! a couple of friends have reported seeing some snow flurries and i guess it's time to realize that winter is really here and buck up and locate my gloves. on sunday pastor jerry mentioned as a side note a story that i had totally forgotten about. but something i pray for frequently
2 Kings 6: 15-18
15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" the servant asked. 16 "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." 17 And Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.it is wonderful to know that God is able to send a host of angels to protect us in the battle.
